October 4, 201510 yr Rob - I hope you can answer this for me. I like to make changes to an airport scenery in upstate NY and I always use ADE software in FSX but last week you had mentioned that getting the developer software for P3d has advantages, can you mention what these are? I am interested in the developer software but I cannot find any information on the capabilities it has. Thanks again, Nick Nick Sciortino
October 4, 201510 yr Moderator PMFJI Nick but I think Rob was referring to the developer license. For $10/month you get TWO copies of P3D with no watermark and free updates. Other than the also free SDK there is no "developer software" that am aware of. The Dev license P3D files are fully functional. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

Vic Thanks Vic - So the developer license give you 2 copies, no watermarks and free updates and all else is the same. This means No advantages using the SDK with this license over the academic? October 4, 201510 yr I have the Pro Plus Dev license for $19.95/mo ... I'm not aware of any advantages with the SDK. Being able to install 2 copies was the important aspect of the license especially for "shared cockpit" testing. Cheers, Rob.
October 4, 201510 yr ... especially for "shared cockpit" testing. Which aircrafts in v3 are suitable for "shared Cockpit mode"? Best regards from RelaxX
October 4, 201510 yr Which aircrafts in v3 are suitable for "shared Cockpit mode"? Not aware of any in default P3D V3 aircraft, but they do exist for 3rd party (NDA) and I can't say any more than that, sorry. But having 2 licenses and two computers to test shared cockpit can make testing that much faster/easier even if I'm doing double duty in the shared environment. Cheers, Rob.
