October 17, 201510 yr Hi Maarten, i tried to locate the Robinson helicopter, which is part of P3Dv3. It isn't listed in SLX. So i had a look into the Robinson-folder and saw not an aircraft.cfg, but a sim.cfg. I copied it to aircraft.cfg and then SLX showed me the Robinson. SLX should also search for such files. Cheers, Walter.
October 17, 201510 yr Hi Walter, That would not be such a good idea. If I did that, you would get all sorts of unwanted 'vehicles' in your aircraft list: avatars, ground vehicles, submersibles, countermeasures, weapons, water drops ... I think LM made a mistake to name this file sim.cfg instead of aircraft.cfg. A sim.cfg file is supposed to be used for all objects that are not aircraft. The best would be to just copy and paste the sim.cfg file in the same folder and rename the copy aircraft.cfg as you have done. thanks, Maarten Maarten Boelens ([m][a:][R][t][ʏ][n]) Developer of SimLauncherX
October 17, 201510 yr Author Hi Maarten, i've seen that sim.cfg sometimes at older aircraft addons. Other programs (like P3D) checks whether there is a panel or not to filter flyable aircrafts. Thanks, Walter.
October 17, 201510 yr Hi Walter, The problem is that those 'vehicles' I mentioned do have a panel.cfg file. Thanks, Maarten Maarten Boelens ([m][a:][R][t][ʏ][n]) Developer of SimLauncherX
