I'm pretty sure that I used to be able to change the active runway by going into Weather and changing wind direction with about 5-10 knots of wind.For some reason, changing the wind direction now and setting up some wind has no effect at all and the active runway remains the default one, whatever the wind direction.AFCAD shows both ends of the runway as usable.I must be missing something very basic.Any ideas please?

I think the sim time has to be changed as well if you already loaded a flight. Try changing back in time one minute. Or setting the wind before you load the flight should also work without having to change the time later.

Hi,After changing the weather you may need to refresh the ATC. You can do this by adjusting the time in FS by a minute or adjusting the AI traffic percentage.Edit: See, Mr. Hall knows the same!! Thank you Charlie and Jim.I knew there was something I had missed.I installed Ultimate Traffic a few weeks ago and with traffic now at 100%, it takes a while for ATC to clear the decks before making the runway change.Changing the time did the trick.Many thanks,
