October 23, 201510 yr Commercial Member Have you tried this: Press ALT+ENTER once or twice so that the sim is showing on screen in windowed mode, then close the sim down. Now start up the sim, should start up where you left it. Now can use ALT+ENTER to move into fullscreen, and should now come back OK when restarted. Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com
October 23, 201510 yr Author Hi Steve, Tried that before but alas no joy still never opens always to the task bar always have to use ALT ENT to get it open. Odd though if I then shut it down and immediately re open all is well... I just cannot SE anything in the EXE file causing this..thanks for the suggestion. All the best Mark
October 23, 201510 yr Commercial Member Does SE close down properly when you Exit? Can you check in Task Manager, and for anything related not stopping like example saipanels.exe? Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com
October 24, 201510 yr Author Hi Steve, All shuts down ok...which is odd? I use ASN Ecza UT2 DX10 and the AS airbus and that is it.... starts up splash screen loads scenery etc then goes to the taskbar it just will not start correctly. only after a restart does the window and menu come up correctly...and I cannot see what seems to stop it running. Tried clearing the Logbook .INI that did not help....just a mystery! Thanks Mark
October 25, 201510 yr Commercial Member ...things to try: Check your default flight is with a stock aircraft. Try with a stock aircraft. Try with stock scenery. Temporarily rename dll.xml and exe.xml (so you can rename them back later, I would add ".bak" or something on the end). Then start up the sim, ALT+ENTER to windowed mode and close. Then try opening again. This is to see if there's anything in there to cause the issue. Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com
