October 29, 201510 yr Hello. I have been simming for about 6 months. I have learned many things through practice, and watching 14 seasons of "MAYDAY" and now I am trying to get deeper into what I am actually doing when I play P3D. I registered on this great forum, which offers useful and helpful information and tips. I need an "explain like I'm 5" explanation of what BARO and MINS knobs do. All I really know is that when I am past transition altitude, I have to press the STD button under the BARO setting. Everything else, I need explained. I've looked in the documentation that came with my PMDG 777 product, as well as online, to nothing that helps me in the basic understanding of these functions. If someone can explain, or perhaps link me to a page that will, I would greatly appreciate it.
