Partial Slew Failure Question?

Featured Replies

Periodically, I find that I cannot slew an aircraft forward or backward. Left, Right, Up, Down and Rotating left or right works fine. I can restart FS9 and everything works fine.I am suspicious that this has something to do with activating and deactivating active camera views but I have not confirmed that this is the only time this happens. In Active Camera I have the left, right, up, and down numberpad keys assigned to applicable active camera commands (forward, backword, left and right). If once Active Camera is selected I can understand even after it is deactivated (all checkmarks removed) that this could be the problem but being that some of the slew commands work (left and right), and some do not (Forward and Backward) makes me wonder if this is the problem.Anyone else observed this problem and possibly know a soultion (besides restarting FS9).Thanks:RTH

Hello,If Active Camera is installed set numpad lock to OFF (this will disable the move around numpad key commands).regards

Thanks for the reply Serge:In order to implement the slew mode, the "numpad lock" has to be off anyway, regardless of whether Active Camera is installed. Otherwise, looking right, left, etc. is activated for these keys, not slew commands. As stated in my original post, Every slew command is active and works fine when the problem occurs with the exception of moving forward, or backward. If my "mumpad lock" is on, nothing works in slew mode which is normal operation. Thanks again.RTH
