A possible solution for some microstutters and unstable frame rates in V3

In the process of building up my P3D V3 system, I started seeing really unstable frame rates (especially with VSync on), regular microstuttering especially in turns, and very high GPU utilization.  This started after installation of a large number of add-ons in Europe, including Ultimate Terrain 2 and a wide variety of add-on airports.


The culprit turned out to be the special effects detail and distance sliders in P3D3...both were set to high (full right), and moving both down to medium dropped GPU utilization from over 90% (on two powerful 980Ti GPUs) to the 30-40% range, and restored very smooth operation.
