Removing Bushes and Trees from New Polygon?

Recommended Posts

I have been updating some P3d airports using Airport Design Editor (ADE)...I am running into the problem of having some bushes, trees, etc., showing up sticking through the new ramp areas...I am familiar with the Exclude Area function within ADE, but this does not seem to work for the thres, bushes etc...Can anyone advise me how to get rid of these bushes? Thanks a lot,

I would make sure that the new ramps and taxiways are on the airport polygon.  Since airport polygons are part of the .cvx file and that file cannot be opened or imported, you make have to make a whole new polygon.  If you do this, I recommend that you save the airport with a unique name, my convention is to add "-master" to the airport file name so that I know it contains airport and terrain polygons.  I drop the "-master" from the name when compiling the airport.
