Installing Mesh - Where in scenery.cfg?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm always struggling to add Mesh in the scenery.cfg

Not the adding process itself but determining the order and priority. So here it goes:

What is the correct/best location in the scenery.cfg for adding Mesh?

(Talking about P3D V2.5 and P3D V3 if different).

Currently I have it installed just above the P3D base scenery entries,

Thus in the Scenery Library Editor just one entry above the '1107 Base' entry:

                                    Priority
... ...
Asia 109
Africa 110
FreemeshX - Pathes 111
FreemeshX - NA 112
... ...
FreemeshX - Africa 117
1107 Base 118
1106 Base 119
... ...

Is this the correct location and order? (FreemeshX - Patches on top of the other FreemeshX entries?)

Your advice is much appreciated

Apparently I asked myself a rhetorical question...

So disregard my above question

(unless  of course you still have the urge to answer  )

Looks like you took the words right out of your own mouth. :)

Yeah, your discovery and response is about spot on to what I would have stated, but I'm glad you found the answer.  Many here don't take the time to do a little research, via the search box on AVSIM.  I know it can be a little overwhelming sometimes when you get your search results back, but the answers are there.
