December 25, 201510 yr Congrats have to go to the new Windows 10! Now that they have all of the bugs worked out! Switched to Windows 10 for about 2 weeks and went back to Windows 7. But, it was interesting for those 2 weeks, especially with FSX! December 25, 201510 yr Lol. When I first saw the title of thread, I was hoping the poster was joking. I gave it a try last week too finally and saw my CPU benchmarks drop significantly. And not only benchmarks; when I finally got to "real-world" (pardon the pun) sim usage, the benchmarks had correctly foreshadowed the [slight] declines in performance... Garrett Frank

Hello, Garrett, I had heard that 10 was ready for prime time, so I installed it. My experience was about the same as you. But, after a bit, it was worth going back to windows 7. At least until 10 matures and becomes more stable. Now, if only I would have performed a clean install of 10, followed by a clean FSX install, it could have made a difference. Then, Microsoft performs mandatory software downloads and breaks the sim. We'll see what time does. After all, "Time Wounds all Heals!"
