I have a screen that runs at 1920 x 1024 x 32 but when I start FSX via SimStarter the resolution is always set to 1280 x 720 x 32.

 

I have looked at the FSX.cfg file and the settings in it are for the higher resolution and when I start FSX directly the screen resolution starts at the higher resolution.

 

I guess I have missed something but cant see what it is.

Sorry, your question have been overseen...

 

Best way would be:

 

1) Starting the Simulator & make all the changes and set the resolution

2) Start SIMstarter > Master Profile > fsx.cfg Tab > Click "Renew from fsx.cfg" Button

3) This will import the current fsx.cfg to SIMstarter and this will fix your issue

 

SIMstarter is using a copy of your fsx.cfg.
