Hi all.

Asking for a friend who just bought one of those Pentium Dual Core G3258's for SUPER cheap.

 

Apparently it overclocks like a boss (easily and simply on stock cooling up to 4.4) and he's wondering if it could be suitable for running P3D and what GPU to properly pair with hit?  

 

Geek bench single core performance is ridiculously good.

 

Perhaps someone in the know here could help me understand how well this CPU might run P3D?

Also, is there some particular benchmark he could run (obviously not targeting GPU since that hasn't been procured yet) that would best simulate the way P3D in particular taxes a system?
