September 18, 200520 yr Hi all, Just reinstalled FS9 on a new PC. For some reason, when I tried to install the 9.1 update it froze. When I tried to reinstall 9.1, the installer said that 9.1 was already installed, meanwhile in my FS9 directory I can't find the 9.1 uninstall.exe. Can anyone send me their 9.1uninstall.exe to nicklivans-at-gmail.com so I can try to uninstall/reinstall 9.1?Thanks,Nicklivans
September 18, 200520 yr Author Moderator Just delete the Backup folder and run the update again."Uninstalling" FS9 does NOT remove all the files...In fact, "uninstalling/reinstalling" is not the best way to fix problems... In the future though, before "reinstalling" FS9, try using the "Restore Defaults" function in the starup menu.This will force your fs9.cfg file to be rebuilt from scratch, and will solve ~90% of the problems you might encounter.
