Can I use a 747 Flight Plan in the 777?

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to use a Flight Plan in the 747 Flight Plan folder for using as a 777 "Company" Plan?

Just load it like any other COROUTE. All PMDG flight plans are saved in the same place. As long as the .RTE file is in the PMDG flightplans folder, or one of the sub folders, the 777 FMC will find it. Your 747 plan should already be in the PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS folder.

Select ROUTE REQUEST in the RTE page and it will open a selection menu showing all PMDG flightplans saved. If you enter the origin airport first it will only show routes starting there. Select the desired flightplan, select REQUEST and then watch the route uplink simulation work in all it's glory. When it's ready to load select LOAD and it will complete the process.

Alternatively you can copy the 747 flightplan into the PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS\777 sub folder and then enter the flightplan name as the COROUTE in the CDU RTE page.
