Problem with Nav Radio's Audio (speaker) switching no automatically

Featured Replies

Ever since I've had FS9 I have had a problem with the Audio switch being turned on automatically when ever a tune in a station. This happens with VOR, ADF. Back in FS2002, the audio switches had to be manually control, and I much prefer it that way. Question: Is there any way to change my FS9 so that it does not automatically turn on the audio when I tune a nav radio?I've been trying to figure this on out for a while:-hmmm. Sure would appreciate any help!

You probably have the switches on in your default startup flight. Just shut off the ones you don't want on and resave your startup flight. That should do it. Remember that any time you make a change to any parameter that you want to keep in FS you need to resave the startup flight. maxsdad

Yes, I have saved my flight with the switches all in the off position. The problem is that whenever I tune a radio in to an active frequency, the switch will automatically kick on once I am receiving the frequency so that I get the Morse code beeps even though I might not want them at the time. Can you let me know if your FS9 does this? I initially thought that it was part of the programming for FS9 because mine has been doing this from the beginning. Just try to see if I can get this fixed, because it's a bit annoying. Thanks
