ISD Venice problem

Featured Replies

For some reason I have a crash every time I enter or exit Rwy 04R-22L at LIPZ using the fabulous ISD freeware scenery. It may be the same sort of problem as the "bouncing aircraft" in another current thread, but I'm not sure.It occurs with default or addon aircraft. It's pretty frustrating after running through a 20-minute startup, only to crash when entering the runway, or vice versa, to complete a flight and crash while taxiing to the gate.Any suggestions?ThanksBlairCYOW

Anyone? The ISD forum isn't a very active place for questions.

I seem to recall an altitude problem with that scenery, I had to repair it with a utility called jabbgl. I don't know if ISD ever made a fix for it. Have you checked their site?I use Lago's Venice now which is very impressive.Lee

There was a patch for "floating ai" which I've applied, but it hasn't helped me. I'll do a little more digging. And thanks for your input Lee.BlairCYOW

Floating ai are indicative of an altitude difference between the default airport altitude and the addon airport altitude. The utility Jabbgl, helps fix that. You have to change the height difference into meters to get it to work but it does a nice job. I'm not sure where to find it, but try here on Avsim.Lee
