Flight1 C172 : how to remove yoke in VC ?

Featured Replies

Hi,I'm flying again the F1 C172 and I'm a big fan of VC. The problem is that the yoke hides the lower panel switches. Unlike other aircrafts it is not possible to click on the yoke to remove and I am not keen on going to the 2D panel to operate the swithches. Would you have a tip for me please ? Thanks

If you use TrackIR with Vector, you can actually look around the yoke like you would in real life. I have not seen any other work around. Have you tried posting in Flight1's support forums at www.simforums.com? Someone may some ideas there.Tony=http://www.flightsim-bevs.com]BEVBetaSig.jpg

Hi Tony, thanks for your input !

I set some joystick buttons for the eyepoint views so I can move the eyepoint down to see the switches. You can also use Shift Enter and Shift Backspace, I believe.I don't know of a way to remove the yoke in VCPaul

Yes. allocate some buttons to the "move eyepoint up/down/left/right in/out" commands in the assignments menu then you can look around the yoke.CheersTimhttp://members.chello.nl/t.westnutt/realair.gif

Hi guys, thank you for your suggestions. I can indeed preset views with Active Camera after moving the eyepoint up/down/left/right in/out. Maybe I'm too difficult but I wonder if it is possible to remove the yoke definitely...That's the way how I like it.

Hi Ed,That's the kind of tip I was looking for. Smart indeed ! Thanks !
