That's what I've always depend upon FSNav for -->checking quickly to see exactly where in the world I am. >Granted, the city has to have an airport to appear on the map>view, but cities usually do. Small towns, perhaps not. You>can also click the icon between the hammer and the question>mark on the tool bar at the top of the FSNav map and get a>small version of the map to appear on your FS9 screen as you>fly. Unless I misunderstand your question,>FSNav does a great job of telling you just what you want to>know.Ahh, but ... EZ Landmark also tells you the names of those mountain peaks you're flying over. Not to mention the lakes (numerous) that FS Nav doesn't even show. And EZ VFR shows me the airports name, altitude and bearing (even more if I prog it). So it provides a link between FS Nav and a real life nav chart and/or a road map of the region.:D

April 5, 200620 yr Jason, I also recommend USA Roads by Flight 1. If you get a topo map or any detailed street map you can pinpoint just about any town in the USA. Night textures are much improved over the default as well. What's more, there is virtually no impact on frames. Hope this helps. Regards, Tom
