October 2, 200520 yr I've created a flightplan in FSNAV and exported it to FS9, then loaded that flight plan; selected the piper and I noticed that the flightplan is not in the GPS. I then created the same flightplan via FS9's default planner then selected it; and it was not in the GPS neither. Is this not supported on the RXP Garmins???(I'm sure it is) I look throught manual and the tutorial; but they only talk about entering in manual flightplans directly into the Garmin 530.I'm sure I'm missing something hear; can anyone enlighten me??
October 2, 200520 yr No, you're not missing anything. The only way to get a flightplan into the GNS530 or 430 from Reality-XP is to manually input it. Those units do not support importing flightplans from any source.
October 2, 200520 yr You may be sure that it is, but you would be wrong :) Sorry. The Garmin has to be programmed manually just as you would with the real thing, but it is fun to do, especially if you want it as real as it can get. Enjoy the 530, I love it and won't fly without it, at least in the sim, lol.
October 2, 200520 yr Author Thanks Guys I figured that was the case as I was waiting on an answer. Just makes my preflight a little longer ;)
