LINDA with RealAir Lancair V2

Featured Replies

How can I create a new aircraft module with the RealAir Lancair V2? The aircraft search string gives me aircraft that are in the SimObjects folder. In the case of RealAir, their default installation folder now resides in Drive "C". The "Create" button is only available when I select an aircraft from the "Aircraft Search String" list.

Not sure how this works.

Thanks!

Hi Mario

I assume you are using the P3DV3.1/3.2 version of the RealAir aircraft. Lockheed Martin has moved to install aircraft and scenery away from the main P3D directory. This differs from the FSX standard for which LINDA was written and where it expects to find the aircraft in the simobjects directory. This problem has been highlighted to me but I have not yet investigated a solution. Compatibility to all FSX derivatives must be the priority for most LINDA users. Watch this space.

The RealAir folder location is exactly the issue. No problem - no rush. I will keep monitoring this forum. Thanks ScotFlieger.
