Clean Reinstall to Different Drive

Recommended Posts

I have P3D 3.1 now and instead of upgrading I have been thinking about doing a clean install to my D: drive since my C: drive is slowly filling up. Other than uninstalling P3D and deleting the folders LM says to (per http://www.prepar3d.com/frequently-asked-questions/), is there anything I should be concerned about? Will there be registry entries that don't get deleted that will always point to my C: drive that will cause headaches in the future? If I'm doing a clean install should I uninstall all of my add-ons first via the Windows control panel (aircraft, scenery, ASN, etc.)?

If you're going to change drive letter - uninstall your add-ons first. Then uninstall P3D and delete the suggested folders - then install the new version to the new drive. Then install add-ons. Should have no problems.
