September 25, 200421 yr My dad's computer has an problem with IE. (BTW, I will abstain from anti-IE comments for the moment ;)) His problem occurs when he is surfing a page that has a form and he submits it, and presses back. He gets a 'page not found error'. However, by pressing refresh he is able to get that page again. Any ideas on how to fix that?
September 27, 200421 yr That may not be a problem. When you submit the form, you added info to it and sent it. Have you tried the exact page form to see if your computer does or does not do the same thing?W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
September 27, 200421 yr Has he installed SP2 for XP? I found that a couple of new security features ended up in XP. For one, I had to explicitly allow downloads from AVSIM. They also put in a popup blocker (yay!) that also blocks my ISP's e-mail window (boo!) but it does allow you to bypass the blocking on a site-by-site basis, so there's no problem once you realize it's doing that. This might be one of those popups that tells you that you're entering or leaving a secure connection. IE might be blocking the popup, and the site is waiting for the answer. Haven't seen this myself, but it wouldn't surprise me if it happens.
