Autopilot VS-selector in 25ft increments? <--tweak?

Featured Replies

Would anyone know if its possible to fiddle with a setting somewhere and make the autopilot Vertical Speed selector move in increments of 25ft in the airliners?Right now its the default:0,100,200,....etcI want it to scroll:0,25,50,75,100,125.....etc.Reason being my Top of Descent calculations are being thrown a wee bit off track :)Many thanks!

Related to this, I also have some panels/aircraft that do odd things with the altimeters, VSI, and heading bugs. I think it could be a gauge problem, seeing as how it doesn't occur in all aircraft, BUT sometimes it changes it's behaviour in the same aircraft, often in the same flight! As in: heading bug going from 1-degree increments to 10 degree increments (super annoying), altitude increments going up to 1000' (not frequent) and the VSI range of adjustment varies so much that it MUST be the gauges involved. I have no clue how to repair or modify a gauge, or tweak those settings, so I will be monitoring this thread very closely.-Jeremy BurchThe Ozark DogfighterHappy Flying!Pilot-The friction locks are causing the throttle levers to stick.Mechanic- Umm, that's what they're there for...

The payware version of FSUIPC has a feature to correct this "bug" in some panels. It is not a cureall but ussually works for me. R-

In some aircraft, yes, the roll rate is too high. I don't think that's a gauge thing though, most likely either in the cfg or air file. I'll have to check into that some more, Nevin.Think I'll read into your post and register FSUIPC Ron, been trying to find another reason to do so anyway :D-Jeremy BurchThe Ozark DogfighterHappy Flying!Pilot-The friction locks are causing the throttle levers to stick.Mechanic- Umm, that's what they're there for...
