Just installed PMDG on my sons new PC and every time we exit the flight it closes FSX Steam edition and

We have to re-start Steam FSX.

 

Any ideas how to fix this as my son has ADHD and Aspergers. He is very stressed that we can't get it to work properly.

 

PC I5 4960k Nvidia 750TI 8GB memory.

Known issue. Instead of using ESC to end the flight, use CTRL+C, ALT+F4 or the X at the top right of the screen (if using the program in Windowed Mode).

 

FSX (and FSX:SE) aren't very good at handling additional workload after using our aircraft. At the end of using the NGX, it's best to close the sim prior to conducting a flight in any other aircraft other than the one you used.
