Chaning weather, reloads Terrain data?

I've never seen reloading of the entire scenery (Terrain data) when I  change weather settings... 

 

 

But I am noticing that occasionally happens in P3D V3.2 

 

Anyone notice this?

 

I just went from total fog to snow weather. I did no other change... Its gong to loading the whole scenery which takes a long time...
