Guys I am having trouble with asn depicting thick clouds at higher altitude

 

For instance I set asn manual mode for testing at cyvr heavy rain thunderstorms clouds start base at 3000

And as thick as 30000ft thou I get to 13000ft and clear above

 

 

Any advise appreciated
