October 13, 200520 yr i fly for a charter airline and we service the bush areas in washington, etc and i was just thinkin the other day - and i dont know how you guys determine where you fly, but i have a deck of cards and i pull out one card or more for each airport i service - which is all of the fsaddon/georender airports in the washington area, ok now, no matter how you pick your next spot to go to, i was thinking that we fly to many, correct?what im trying to say is, its easy to haul cargo/pax from this airport to that airport then this then that, etc etc, we could do that all day long - which i sometimes do on my day off, now what im trying to get at is, in real life, there would be not that many charters actually happening correct?? i dont know and thats my question, how many charters actually take place in the real world for one company like that would be?im starting to think that maybe doing no more than two charters a day then flying cargo and/or comutor and/or air taxi (scheduled) would be far more realistic, any thoughts?thanksjust trying to keep it realciao!Brian S Ciao!
