Aerial's CF-18

Hi everyone,Im thinking of purchasing Aerial Foundry's CF-18 but have no idea if this product is worth it, I cant find reviews or anything. I just found out they are going to shut down but the f18 is still available and from the screens it looks like a pretty nice bird.Anyone have comments about this aircraft?Thanks

Just finished a flight with it. Well worth the money. I had it since it came out and other than changing a few sounds, I have no complaints. Its a well polished and great looking add on.

I have had it for some time too. It has a fantastically detailed exterior model and is great fun to fly. I think I would use it more often if it had a more interactive VC, as I use the TrackIR system and fly from the VC all the time. The great freeware F18 available in the Avsim File Library may also have impacted on Aerial's sales. The freeware package is payware quality too, IMHO, and that makes it hard to justify shelling out for Aerial's similar aircraft.Cheers,N.

That is a shame, the AF F-18 is a beaut. I have flown the Freeware F-18 and it is great, but it is the Super Hornet, and I like the lines of the original.Flying off and on the carriers, I find the AF F-18 is much nicer all around the flight envelope. I too have both AF and the freeware Hornets, yet usually (99% of flights) I end up using the AerialFoundry one. I used to berate Hornets for doing the job of their three predecessors a third as well as any one of them, but I'm starting to develop a very slight begrudging like of the model now after flying the AF ones so much... ;-)Cheers,Ian P.
