October 14, 200520 yr Hi All,I started use the MRAI method with Excel to create and install flight plans.I seem to be at a brick wall with saving the Excel file into SDV format.I need to insert the semicolon between columns for the text file so that the Mrai compiler will work.I ain't going to do it manual!!I copy and paste flight schedules to Excel at present .Any Ideas,Atkin
October 14, 200520 yr Hi,Use File/Save As, and then use the drop down box to choose semicolon delimited file. If your Excel doesn't have that (most don't), then choose comma delimited file. Save, open in Wordpad, and use Replace to replace all commas with semicolons.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
October 14, 200520 yr Author Hi, Yahoo!! this sure does save me some time.I fiddled around in Excel and found that if you put the cursor on the bottom right hand corner in can repeat changes you make to the top cell in the entire column. This is useful for adding AM or PM to time or anything repetative.Thats my tip. Thanks my friend.:-beerchug Atkin.
