May 3, 201610 yr Hi All: Out of curiosity, are the settings in P3D v3 higher/more detailed then FSX SE? By that I mean, and more specifically, are the scenery settings equivalent? Or are higher settings in P3D V3 more graphic and detailed compared to the higher settings in FSX SE. I'm just wondering because when I set my P3D v3 settings identical to that in FSX SE, I get OOMs and extremely blurry ground scenery. Thanks for the explanation. A. May 3, 201610 yr Afaik settings are not equivalent: dense autogen in P3D shows more autogen than dense in FSX. And so on. But you shouldn't be getting OOMs and blurry scenery regardless...
May 5, 201610 yr Author Thank you. The ground textures are what get blurry, not buildings, water, etc. I just think the computer runs out of memory to load the textures - that's how I know I'm getting close to an OOM. So maybe setting P3D to a medium or medium low would result in details similar to high settings in FSX? A.
