Yes. The problem with this though, they keep chasing "perfection" and it will never get released. I think I like TFDi approach with the MD-11 where they rolled the airplane out with in-depth daily, normal ops and at a later time added more complexities. I don't have FB. Could someone please REQ Transportes Aéreos de Cabo Verde (TACV), American Trans Air (ATA), and maybe just an all white/blank. Thanks!

That should not happen. Are you selecting “Nav” on the autopilot MCP before takeoff? Assuming the SID you are flying starts from the departure RWY, the autopilot will capture and fly the route/course. The autopilot will only track VOR/LOC if you select that on the MCP. If you need to fly a heading from the departure RWY to intercept a VOR or SID, you should make sure the autopilot is in heading mode prior to takeoff.

Oh yes. That's what it's called. The tool bar. I remove shortcuts I don't want/need but the next time I restart the sim to fly, some of those items I removed appear again. Also, anybody know how to remove the word not allowed copilot.

Howdy: Trying to figure FS2024 out. Can someone please tell me: -How to move the GSX menu to the left side of the screen and have it stay there. I move it but after I close it and re-open, it appears on the right side again. -From inside the cockpit view, how do I change the sim time of day? Say I want to make it earlier/later in the day, how do I get to a setting that allows me to change the time without having to go back to the main menu and resetting the flight? -From inside the cockpit view, there is that little drop down menu. I custom the things I want/need (like GSX, EFB, etc.) but when I restart the game, that FCR Embedded and camera keep reappearing. -I have tried every setting to get default airplanes removed. Today I landed at PHKO and there are tones of these yellow, twin, taildraggers everywhere on the ramp. Make it stop! -Every time I open the sim, I the little bell at the top indicates I have a new notification. Really, it's just a promo for marketplace upgrades. How do I get it to stop those? I have like five notifications for the same thing. Thanks all!

Thank you both for the insight. It appears selecting "apply to all aircraft" may have fixed the issue.

Howdy folks: I installed FS2024 this weekend. I built 2 profiles for my hardware (keyboard, yoke, throttle, joystick, etc.) - named "A" & "B" under both "General" and "Airplane Controls". If I select profile A for all hardware and exit the sim, the next time I load the sim, the profiles that loaded previously (A) are now all mixed up. Some of the hardware is loaded profile A others are set to B. Sometimes general is A and airplane controls are set to B. How do I keep the same profile loading every time I load the sim and change only when I go into controller settings and change them? Thanks!

All good things come to end. I LOVED the simplicity of FSLTL. I just liked when I was moving around an airport there was eye candy. Disappointing the fate of this program. I knew things at FR24 were changing a few months back when they sent a survey asking how much I'd be willing to pay to use FR24 as a hobby. I read they got taken over by some company so it's all about the money now - same as flightaware. Typical this day in age.

I spoke before but if the 747 wasn’t FS2024 only, I wouldn’t be switching.

I’m extremely excited about/for PMDG 747 so I took advantage of the sale and bought FS2024. I will make the switch when is close to 747 release. Ive never been able to switch back & forth between sims (don’t know why) so I’m jumping in with both feet.

You're not reading my remarks carefully. I didn't say the EFB DIDN'T work. I said it's not intuitive. Click spots are too small in spots and EFB can be sluggish. I cannot access the manual (for the moment). According to Aerosoft, it's located on Aerosoft One app but I purchased from Contrail. Aerosoft One will not accept the S/N that Contrail issued. That's a support ticket I opened...another frustration. I shouldn't be frustrated that I can't get pause at TOD to work correctly because you use 4x acceleration? So if that's the case, what's the point of buying a 13 hourish long haul airplane if you're going to accelerate 4x? Point being, you use your sim to your needs/situation, I use mine to my needs/situation. I need/prefer pause at TOD. Regarding other responses @JYW, I did (try) to reset the OFP in the EFB. It's when I re-loaded that it was pulling an old one. I unloaded the old one only for it to reload the old one again. Had to restart the sim. I can zoom and I can unzoom. So zooming works BUT sometimes it just get's stuck. I have to change views to get it unstuck to go back to "normal" eye view.

Ahhh. "Expensive" is a relative term depending on how in depth you want to go. Any hobby can be expensive...look at the cost of Legos! If you just want to take a Cessna and buzz your house and do some crazy flying, then you don't need much money to do that. If you want a full immersive experience, then yes, you will spend extra money. No different from a visit to the zoo vs. a safari.

-Cockpit textures are cheap. -EFB is overly complicated. Some of the selectable options are so small, its actually hard to difficult to make changes. You accidently click/select options you don't intend. -EFB is sluggish. You'll click an option and it takes a while to respond. -EFB keeps deleting my Navigrpah user info so I have to input it again and again. -When I start the sim, airplane nose is in the ground up to cockpit windows. I have to apply some power for the airplane to go back onto its nose wheel. -Having trouble zooming/un-zooming in the cockpit. -Pause at TOD works, but can't un-pause. I had to exit the sim twice now. -Issue with FMGC calculating extra fuel. -One flight I had to restart because EFB was loading an old flight plan from another flight. Couldn't get it to uplink the correct/current flight. -I've tried 3 different flights but can't tell you how the thing lands because something always goes wrong.

Do you guys know how to un-pause after pause at TOD?

This airplane is terrible. Aerosoft has struck again. I should have listed to my gut, so regretting this purchase. I'm officially adding Toliss to my boycott list. They should have NEVER partnered with Aersoft.

'Hello All: Finally got around to installing the airplane into FS2020. I'm having an issue where I can't always zoom in/out while in the cockpit. I try resetting my view, I try to hold down the keyboard "-" and "+" keys. Sometimes I get stuck when I zoom into the FMCG and can't un-zoom or reset to go back to a normal view. Any tips? Thanks much!
