  1. Flew from Haneda to Rome in the ini A350 today, using FSHud for ATC and traffic injection. 14-odd hours and one go-around later I finally landed an hour or so late, and as my pax were disembarking, I decided to have a look around with Chaseplane.
  2. I tried FSHud again yesterday, still has American accents for all controllers and pilots outside of the US, along with the mis-pronunciation of airlines. I love how you can run it (FSHud) from a browser, and that it is easy and super quick to change departure runways should ATC assign you something different to what you had planned, but if I am flying from Australia to Asia, which I do a lot, I do not expect to hear american accents for the bulk of the journey. BATC voices can be a little robotic but the local accents are much better. Live traffic is the cherry on top for BATC.
  3. Works a treat, parked at SYD and had FR24 open in a browser, was able to match up pretty much every flight in sim with those IRL. The sim was in fact substantially ahead of FR24, by a good 15 to 20 seconds.
  4. I had a go at the "new" FSLTL yesterday as I am a navigraph subscriber, a lot of flights indicated they were pushing back via the FSLTL text screen/box, only for most of them to time out and self-delete minutes later. I finally saw some action with a Qantas 787 pushing back and looking good while doing so, just then 2 other planes came from nowhere and proceeded to perform a fly-by at about 50 feet above the runways, just like the default Asobo AI used to do (when I last used it way back when). Instant immersion kill.
  5. Objection your honour, move to strike!
  6. Been using FSHud ATC pretty much exclusively lately, does everything I need it to do, only real gripe that somewhat grinds my gears is entering SYD airspace, all controllers and pilots have an american accent, and QANTAS is being pronounced CANDICE, really throws immersion for a loop. Other than little things like that, it goes pretty good.
  7. Waiting for some kind of review or as others said a video of a complete flight before pulling the pin on a purchase...
  8. This looks like it could be a purchase for someone like me that only flies airliners, but I do have just one query. I usually only fly mid to long haul, all in 1x time, sometimes overnight (where I get to cruise level before going to bed and then wake up before decent and landing. My question is - what happens if a passenger event onboard occurs while I'm off having a snooze?
  9. wait, people are paying to (learn to) fly a free aircfraft? ever heard of youtube, and the search function contained within?
  10. No to static AI, if it doesn't move or at least intend to move, I don't want it.
  11. Each to their own, I still hang on to 2020 as it can handle the FBW A380 moreso than 2024, but both FBW aircraft taxi like absolute pigs, so 99.9% of flights for me are in 2024 in the Fenix, the A350 or the 77W. If I was hard drive poor, I would certainly uninstall 2020, but I have 2 8TB SSD's, so there's more than enough room for both.
  12. Sorry to have somewhat taken over your thread @JYW - just wanted to report a successful loooooong haul in the A350. A tad over 14 hours block time, aircraft didn't miss a beat. Now, to summise what I *believe* may be a contributing possible factor towards WASM crashes. I tried this flight yesterday, but got an orange screen crash whilst loading cargo and pax at Sydney. My intention was to include and be able to see the physical passenger models from GSX Pro, but instead I got the crash and therefore gave up for the day. So I tried again today, except this time in GSX I unticked the IniBuilds A350-900 box, so that I would still get the passengers, but they would not visually appear in the cabin. 14+ hours later I'm touching down on 06R at LAX. Is GSX part of the issue? I don't know for sure, what I do know is that I'm going to bed now, one satisfied simmer. I love this plane. Cheers. EDIT - I don't use any sim rate changes whatsoever, for the record.
  13. Will soon find out, re-doing DAL42, SYD to LAX overnight, this time in 2024. Fingers are crossed, this is fast becoming my favourite aircraft, both in sim and IRL.
