Oh how I’d laugh if a 747-400 popped out in 6 months

Honestly, with the pace that other Boeing addons are being developed at (including, but not just PMDG), there's a chance for INI to beat some to market. A 737-200 also comes to mind.

I'd still prefer a VC10!

But I'll take an older Boeing if that's all they offer :)

Shots across the bow!!!

At this point, It makes perfect sense for them to diversify.

Say whatever you want about iB, but they do know how to produce good addons at a reasonable pace.

Bring on the non-Airbus addons! 🎉👍

Now this will shake some things up... and they're obviously getting better too.

A 787 would be one that needs attention. Loads of them flying daily, yet no one as far as i know are doing one at present.

They would definitely be first with a 767, and of course they'd be able to create a decent E-Jet (for a change).

If the Bluebird 757 turns out as great as it seems, I would wait for their 767 though.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

For the Boeing lineup, a 767 makes the most sense for iniBuilds, because Bluebird would probably be 3 years away from releasing a 767. That's more than enough time for iniBuilds to beat Bluebird to releasing a 767.

For the 787, Vector is supposed to release the 787 by the end of this year. Even if Vector is delayed and end up releasing the 787 in the first half of 2027, I don't think iniBuilds can beat Vector to releasing a 787. Plus, if the Vector 787 ends up being high fidelity, that's even more difficult for iniBulds to beat, so iniBuilds would end up potentially losing money on a 787 project.

It may also be the 747, but it typically takes PMDG 2 to 3 years to come out with the next Boeing airliner, and given PMDG released the last variant of the 777 some time ago and they have been working on the 747 since then, it's possible that the 747 from PMDG may be released next year, or at the latest, probably the first half of 2028, so that's not much time for iniBuilds to release the 747, if they want to beat PMDG.

Now the one plane that iniBuilds could do quietly and get to the market first is the Q400. At the rate Majestic are going at, it's probably at least another 2 years before Majestic releases their Q400 for MSFS. And I think I am being charitable when I say at least 2 years.

If there is an MSFS 2028 (this is unknown at this point, I'm just saying "if" there is), and MSFS 2028 actually came out, Majestic would be so far behind, especially if they have been coding for MSFS 2020 🤣

Maybe ini could make the E2s so so I can do some porter ops

Aside from the E-Jets E1/E2, an ERJ-145 would also be nice. The FeelThere one back in the day wasn't bad at all, and it's a cool little plane for short hops.

I'm hoping they take on the E-Jets 170-195 project, I don't think we will ever see a completed project from FSS. As far as Boeing I would love to see a 767-cargo and passenger version. It's a shame there was never one developed since FS9/FSX days, not sure if the Level D guys are still in exsistence.
