So, half of the people says it‘s polished and flying well, the other half says it‘s full of problems. Are there any real Embraer pilots here that can state their opinion? Just to rule out user errors

As for 2 - you need to arm autothrottle before takeoff, did you do that? Just push the AT button and AT should show on the PFD. Then once the throttle goes past about 60% AT takes over

I don‘t have SI and mind the disclaimer in my signature, but I saw exactly that (AI traffic crashing into the runway on landing) a couple of days ago in a A330Driver‘s video (who uses SI). Don‘t remember which video it was, but it was about three weeks old. Compared with BATC (which I use) I find the AI traffic I see in his videos much worse compared to BATC in regards to animations and quantity, as others have already pointed out. I think in AI traffic SI lags behind quite a bit. Although I see some progress in the videos (it was much worse half a year ago).o

No, doesn't sound familiar. This sounds more like an issue with SimAppPro. I use Mobiflight and haven't had any problems with the FCU and the A330.

That's not BATC doing it, but the sim: The numbers 1,2,3 etc. on the keyboard are bound to specific frequencies via the default ATC. Just unbind them in the sim controls

That's actually what they are planning to do, full release (which they are working towards now and which according to the roadmap still needs VFR stage 3 and some emergency stuff [diversions mostly I assume]) and then free updates

Yes quite a lot of them. Project Zomboid has been in Early Access for almost 10 years (2011 - 2020). But you don't even have to look outside of flightsim: FSS E-Jets have been in Early Access for well over 2,5 years now. What's more important than a label, though, is what the product (early access or not) brings to the table. There's been countless features that are in BATC right now that have never been on the roadmap in the first place (Live Traffic for example). They could have completed the Early Access a year ago and we'd maybe not have Live Traffic at all. Would you prefer that?

Upsides would be, as Farlis put it, to just not having to wait until features come to EA, be it bigger (VFR) or smaller (all kinds of) features. No downsides really in my personal opinion, except for having new features earlier can mean they are slightly more buggy. That said we do have an internal testing cycle with a dozen of people testing the versions before they come to EXP, so there should not really be any show stoppers except for very rare cases.

This will be fixed on the next release. The fix is already out on EXP and so far has been reported working well

I have no stutters whatsoever on any airport during departure and landing. And this is with a mediocre i7-14700k and 4070 (12 GB VRAM). Limiting TLOD and texture resolution is all I needed to do.

For FlyTampa airports it does not work for some reason. They did something to their jetways so they don't work with the sim functions

2k feet above terrain is totally fine. The SID would not be allowed if it wouldn't clear terrain / it would have different altitude/speed restrictions. But to answer your question - there are two correct ways to do it: 1) Set a speed restriction of 250kts on a waypoint further down the departure, preferably one where you consider the altitude prediction as sufficient for accelerating.. The aircraft will then keep 250kts until that waypoint. 2) Set a manual speed (e.g. 250kts) in the PERF CLIMB page. The aircraft will automatically go into selected speed after takeoff and keep that speed until you switch over to managed speed (= push the button).

It means they can stop developing it at any point now as it's "feature complete" and they've "fulfilled" their early access promise. I'd read it more as a "We're done with it, it won't get any better". They'll keep developing until the native 2024 version is out but that shouldn't take too long and after that I'm quite sure they are done with it for good. No way this is going to see 5 years of updates like Fenix/PMDG

I don't have much faith in Gaya. They've only done very mediocre stuff since working for MSFS. So if that's just another update to the handcrafted LEMD, I'd rather wait for iniBuilds to make one (which shouldn't take too long considering their current tempo)

Okay let me give you an example: Can FSCrew handle when you do not extend the flaps after engine start or do the flight control check because of freezing conditions outside? And do it right before takeoff instead? Or can it handle to leave the A320 in flaps1 on very hot days after landing?

Depends on how often / much you use MSFS. You can download a lot of stuff, but photogrammetry (which you can turn off) and satellite photos you can't. This will eat up 80GB very quickly. Can't you just "unlimit" your internet? It's rare these days to have a volume limited internet at home.

Why not? It's not like it's a Concorde. You can do all stuff alone in the A380 just fine, even following real life procedures (obviously doing the FO stuff yourself). It's a very automated airplane and there's a reason Airbus tried to make the A350 (which is just an updated A380 avionics suite) single-pilot. What would kill immersion much more for me would be a FO that just follows the script no matter the situation, like it usually happens with FS2Crew etc., and that I would have to work around ("No don't turn the seat belts off, it's a thunderstorm, I will have to turn them on again"...)

The A350 is a tad below the A380 in regards to performance and overall polishment. But as others said, A350v2 will likely get the same treatment, so they'll end up on the same level I suppose. ini did a great job on the A380.
