My LOD is on max and I'm still getting textures like this -

These are all very close to the plane and I've tried many things to solve them and it's becoming a cumbersome task to deal with. Any idea why they look like this?

I'm assuming you have FXAA turned off in the graphics settings for a start, but to me that looks like what happens when you overload the sim,, it loads lower res textures in a bubble around you. turning up LOD only worsens the problem.

 

You can tell it's a texture overload problem if you pause the sim and then the textures "catch up" and become clear again. In my experience I see this when running unlimited framerates with higher settings.

 

Edit: the fix is either limited frame rate to just slightly lower than your average framerate or turning settings down or a combination of both.
