Yesterday I purchased the DA-42 from Eaglesoft,  The airplane installed just fine in FSXSE.  However, despite the KAP-140 installer running and saying that the autopilot is now installed, it was not.

 

The AP appears in the instrument panel as a non functioning unit..

 

Any help would be appreciated.

 

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium edition and FSX Steam Edition that is NOT a dual install with FSX.

Contacted the Mindstar support abd they sorted out the problem.  Excellent support!

Having precisely the same issue/problem, what was the solution?

Check out their support page on the Mindstar web site.  They will get in touch with you very quickly and sort it out in less that 15 minutes.  Something about a FSXSE and FSX registry issue.

 

Click on the "contact us"  link and send a short note about your issue.  They will take it from there.
