Balance between gfx complexity, refresh and fps

Recommended Posts

My best combination is: 24 Hz refresh in my NEC monitor, MSAA X4, Anisotropic 16x, Tex. res 1024x1024, 2560x1440x32 res, VSync On, Target frame rate Unlimited, Wide-vew On, Tesselation Enabled, Level of detail radius: Ultra, Tes factor High, Mesh 5m, Terrain Tex res 60cm, Scenery complexity Very Dense, Autogen veg Very Dense, Autogen building Dense, HDR On (using PTA profiles), Road vehicles 10%, ASN MAX. Cloud Layer 9, Min. Cloud Draw distance: 90, Max. Cloud Draw distance: 120, Enhanced Overcast condition ON, Max. surface visibility 69, Max. upper visibility 119, Adjust upper visibility and Multiple Visibility layers ON. MT6 with AI Cull & AITraffic Manager @100. NVIDIA 361.43 driver, nVidia Inspector: 4x Antialiasing, 4x Sparse Grid Supersampling.

I have all ORBX Global + Regions + UK2000 airports intalled, +REX Soft Clouds, TEXTURES installed. My fps experience is very smooth almost everywhere except for a couple of particular locations around EGGL where I've always had HUGE HICCUPS  both on APPROACH (ANY DIRECTION) or DEPARTURE RWY 09R/L in FSX-SE and P3D, no matter what hardware I've used, it feels they happen when I touch some event/distance bubble there. It's not a big deal, and they are very specific to the same location but I'd appreciate your suggestions to fix them if it is possible at all.

Anyway, I'm interested in your comments and suggestions about my settings and your experiences with yours.

Thanks,

Dirk.

I7 6700K @4.6Ghz, RAM 8Gb 3000Mhz, TitanX, P3D v3.3.4 overall the best FS experience I've had since fs9.
