1.I have the FMC (route wise) down pat with the 737NG but as to follow route i find it really hard. there is a panel gauge that shows youre route but i find if lets say KLAX-CYVR, i enter it (as if to cheat it) KLAX-LAX1-YVR-CYVR and just after i leave KLAX the direction on the GPS Screen doesn't show my route or i cannot see the line...does the issue not come from maybe the improper FMC route? 

 

2.opening doors with FMC- is it possible? or is it only  for the NGX one

FS9 GPS has nothing to do with the FMC of the 737.

 

You cannot open doors with FMC.
