New to AC16 and flight plan question

Recommended Posts

Hi Friends

Just bought AC16 two days ago, and still trying to figure it out. I have entered a flight plan into AC16 and clicked load; then started FSX and entering the flight plan into GTN750; all seems to go well but into the flight i get a message "need to file a flight plan to get a more accurate weather picture" or something like that.  It appears a couple times during the flight.

I thought i had loaded the flight plan. What did i do wrong, or what do i need to do? When I landed i jumped on my other computer to check the METARs for the arrival airport; and the weather seems to be the same at the airport as reported in the current METAR.

Thanks for letting me know if I missed a step or something in setting up the AC16.
