Hey John...I was attempting to paint an American Eagle Saab for your updated FFG model. Well....odd thing...the paint will show in the aircraft menu, but when the plane loads, still Crossair? Please post the aircraft.cfg entries for the Crossair and American Eagle. The mdl, other than texture mapping, contains no pointers to where the textures are loaded from, so it sounds like a cfg entry gone astray. -John

Yeah...everything checks out. Sent the file to a friend. It worked fine for him. I have deleted, reinstalled the Saab, replaced the texture. Same result, VERY odd. Also, the paintkit that Pascal released. It seems as that it is for the old version? The textures are very large. (which is good!) So it doesn't transfer well over to the updated version. I hope there will be a paintkit released as detailed as the one that was released for the old one. You know, considering the symptoms you had, I wonder if you have both the old and new versions installed. That causes some very odd issues especially if the same aircraft name is shared in two different aircraft.cfgsI can't comment on the Paint Kit. Pascal had already mapped out the texture assignments prior to my working on the project. -John
