Set up ATC unit

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have an add on airfield I fly from that has no ATC unit. Can anyone tell me how to set up an ATC unit at that airfield with a specific frequency. I could do with knowing how to do this as simply as possible without needing a degree in computer programming if possible! I would also like to set up custom RT phrases. I have scenery editor and voice editor but neither are "user friendly"!! Any help appreciated. Thanks

Sorry, I misunderstood about the need for an "ATC UNIT"...CHECKING ON THAT...

In the mean time, perhaps this will help someone else...

You need Scruffy Duck to the rescue...ADE ....new version is about to break... http://www.scruffyduck.org/downloads/4584110854...and he DOES mention adding ATC... http://scruffyduck.screenstepslive.com/s/help_docs/m/20268/l/199780-how-di-i-add-atc-to-an-uncontrolled-airport

...check the FSDeveloper site for other terrific utilities as well...

You can put in an imaginary one like my SE. Kentucky strip, K-69 I drew from scratch with ADE .

https://youtu.be/CI_TF_wto6c with VASI lights, ILS, VOR-DME, and ADF....it DOES show up in the flight planner...so it may be "hook able" into some ATC service.

Good Luck...it's fun...and NO Programming!
