Hey everyone. Sorry to bore you with my boring "which is better" questions, but I need a second opinion in this case.

 

1.An older Intel i3 (about 7 years old) at 2.4GHz (actually runs fsx quite well)

 

2.A 6th gen Intel i5 at 2.3GHZ.

 

Both computers are/will be running intel integrated graphics.

 

1. Has 4GB of ram, but it will be used ONLY for fsx, pmdg 737, and ASN. No other programs/add-ons will be run.

 

2. Has 8GB of ram, but will be running fsx, PFPX, PMDG737, ASN, and it will have all my other downloaded programs on it.

 

So, which do you think will run (ms)fsx better? 1 or 2? Thanks for taking the time to read through my boring schpiel

No need for commenting folks. I've already gone with sticking to option 1. I will be overclocking the laptop and installing extra fans if you were wondering

For those reading at home, #2 is going to be significantly faster and cooler.
