Real Air Duke - Sound and CTD

I have had this issue crop up once in a while..not always...

 

When I am flying the Real Air Duke and I switch between VC and Spotviews  and back and forth, the sound suddenly dips ..the volume goes down and I know I am in trouble..cause soon it follows with a spinning cursor and a CTD.

 

Anyone have this issue? I just got this. I had this in my previous PC and now I got it in my new build.

 

Not sure whats going on.
