P3D V3.3 Addon Compatability

Recommended Posts

Guest tahomatom

I saw this thread that showed which ones were compatible with V3 and it has me thinking which ones are compatible with V3.3.  I just finished my build and am getting FS installed after about 10 years away from the hobby so I don't want to end up purchasing something that won't work!  I know Aerosoft has issues, as does Flytampa I believe.  As far as I know ones from Orbx, Flightbeam, FSDT all work.  Someone can confirm that.  Does anyone know about the others such as Tropicalsim or LatinVFR?

ORBX, Flightbeam, and FSDT are all P3D ready. The FlyTampa's I use (Toronto, Sydney, Dubai, Vienna) are ready and work fine, too. You may ask for upgrades via mail if your bought directly from them and you'll get a new download link. There maybe some older ones (I think Buffalo) not being P3D ready.

Aerosoft's more recent titles are P3D3 ready. However they are very lazy in upgrading older titles and I usually refer to the Migration tool which I am not sure I should suggest you.

I don't own much from Tropicalsim and LatinVFR, but you may want to check case by case.

There is also a good compatibnility list maintained by AirdailyX (http://www.airdailyx.net/fsnewsbreaker/).  Just scroll down in the r.h.s. ad bar there's an ad for the P3D 3rd party compatibility list.

Kind regards, Michael
