Cloud shadows vanish

Hi guys,

 

recently got p3d v3 and am noticing that when panning, as soon as a cloud goes offscreen, the associated shadow vanishes, this can be pretty jarring.

 

any ideas on how to resolve this?

What distance do you have cloud shadows set to? Try the maximum and see if that affects your setup.

Hey,

 

it happens at any shadow quality / cloud shadow distance.

 

Its like its removing the cloud when i cant see it and thus the associated shadow.

This is a known issue with P3D v3.x, there is a thread open regarding this issue on the Lockheed Martin P3D forum, developers are aware and most likely working to fix in an upcoming version.

great thank you! i notice that its only really apparant when zoomed fully out in spot view
