Thanks for any support. I am stuck with this error when trying to install preceipitFX on my new system.

 

 Installation Error: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\P3D\SimObjects\Airplanes\BlackBox Airbus A330-200-F\aircraft.cfg' is denied.

Hi,
 
This mean the file C:\P3D\SimObjects\Airplanes\BlackBox Airbus A330-200-F\aircraft.cfg is not readable by VFXCentral.

 

This is often caused by an antivirus software or if the file permissions are wrong.

1. If you sim was running at the time of the error, try running VFXCentralwhile the simulator is closed.
2. If that does not work, try disabling your antivirus
3. If that does not work, try to find any anomalies that would prevent edition of the aircraft.cfg file (Right-Click, Properties)
