September 21, 20169 yr Hi--just got a 4k monitor. The instructions say it runs best with a DisplayPort 1.2 so as to get 60hz and 3840 x 2160. I have a two year old Titan Black. I've looked everywhere but can't seem to find anything that tells me if I have 1.1 or 1.2. Any help is appreciated. Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.
September 21, 20169 yr I do not know this for a fact, but the Displayport 1.2 version was approved at the end of 2009, so I would be very surprised if your 'black' was 1.1. It could even be 1.3, since that was approved 15 Sept 2014. Further, my 3 year old GTX 680 has 1.2 AFAIK.
