Hiya guys,I just purchased AIBlast from Hotseat but I find it difficult to install the AI sound (AIBlast) can anyone help me how to add the sounds from a AI B752RR to Fshotseat.I have got the dir.: E:fs9aircraftAI B752RR for example. what should i do.and what edit should i make????? I don't really understand the help of hotseat like this:-------------------------------------------------------------In your FSHotSeat install folder, locate the text file ADVAIBlast.ini. The [uSER_MAP] section of this file contains all Model Mapping information in the following format:[uSER_MAP]modelcode_soundcode=sound file,[volume]Model code must correspond to the ATC_MODEL value of the target aircraft.cfg fileExample:To map all your Embraer EMB-120 Brasilias to custom sounds you could enter:[uSER_MAP]E120_P=MyEMB120PowerE120_R=MyEMB120RevE120_S=MyENB120SpoolMany thanks,L.Jim

Hi,That AI plane's folder probably does not have any sounds - most AI aircraft don't come packaged with sounds. You need to find a flyable aircraft of the same or similar type that includes the sounds. Then:1. Find the wav files you want to use from that plane's SOUND folder. You can double click them to play each one. You will need a sound file for the takeoff (Power), reverse thrust (Rev), and the spool up (Spool). As an example, we'll say you found the files you need are called 757RRPower.wav, 757RRPower2.wav, and 757RRStartup.wav.2. Copy those files to the AIBSound folder as specified in the AIBlast instructions.3. Now let's assume in this example that the ATC_MODEL line in this AI 757's aircraft.cfg file reads:ATC_MODEL=757Thus the 3 entries will be 757_P, 757_R, 757_S. Now you would enter the following in your ADVAIBlast.ini file:757_P=757RRPower757_R=757RRPower2757_S=757RRStartupas described in the instructions.Any plane with an ATC_MODEL=757 line in the aircraft.cfg file will now use those wav files listed above. BTW, while my example uses 3 different wav files, I normally use the same wav file for both the Power and Reverse sounds.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___
