October 13, 20169 yr I have UTX 2.x USA installed and placed higher in the scenery than FTX Vector.. this on p3d v3.4.9.. (GEX for textures) I've read before i should be able to do this, have UTX above FTX vector and blend together.. but i'm finding in practice it doesnt look right in areas.. for instance.. in one case where a road normally doesnt exist.. having UTX roads on, causes a road to appear.. uncheck UTX in the scenery library in general.. leaving just vector on, that road is gone and looks closer to the satellite photo.. Is there maybe something else wrong here, or just how it sometimes ends up.. if so.. i think i'd just disable the "vector"/road portion of UTX so that only vector wins.. Whats the best way to do that? Just place vector above UTX or should i turn certain features off in UTX or should i uncheck certain UTX scenery library entries? Below is the comparison Tileproxy 30cm GEX with Vector only GEX with UTX + Vector (road issue) Thanks in advance Asus Strix z790-e; 1000 watt evga SuperNova Plat; 14900k AC_LL 0.55 adp -0.050 253/253/355 CEPoff (CB-1pass 39200 80c, msfs peak 92,avg 60-78c, astrorender 95c,room76F); 64GB(dual 32) cl32 6400 at 6400 xmpII F5-6400J3239G32GX2-TZ5RK, Asus Ryuo III 360mm; Thermaltake v51 Case; Gigabyte 4090 OC; VR-Crystal; Dofreality H6; Astrosite
October 20, 20169 yr Author I've yet to test this, but i think possibly turning on all disabled road features in UTX might "connect the road" and fix this apparent issue in places.
