October 20, 20169 yr Running windows 10 x64 + p3d 3.4.9 + latest simstarter ng.. I'm using ForceVRMode = 1 (flyinsidefsx setting) to make it so when launching saved flights from the desktop, it goes into flyinside vr mode automatically and loads the saved flight. WIth simstarterNG if i pick the saved flight from the picklist and launch profile, it just loads the "default" saved flight, not the one from the picklist.. Anyone know of a workaround to this? I've tried making flyinside's exe be the exe that launches instead of prepar3d.exe but that also did not help. October 21, 20169 yr Author I believe this is an issue because of the way simstarter ng modifies the cfg file for the saved flight, making the default flight be the one chosen, on the fly.. but only for prepar3d.cfg... likewise with flyinsidefsx uses its own in the %appdata%\roaming\lockheed martin\prepar3d v3 folder called prepar3d_flyinside.cfg So its my guess, that unless simstarter NG somehow encorporates that file (the flyinside cfg) as the config file (a future option maybe), then saved flights wont launch from simstarter when using goggles + flyinsidefsx.. Posted a question over at simstarter ng, but i dont think they quite get this, so far.. instead wanting debug logs to troubleshoot. I was hoping someone found an easy workaround.
